Responsibilities For Senior Application Engineer
- Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources
- Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes
- Facilitates integrating cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency
- Integrates new project data sources with USSOCOM data classification and protection tools
- Implement and monitor database security measures
- Monitor the performance of databases
- Manage data migrations, upgrades, and patch installations
Requirements For Senior Application Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum eight (8) + years of relevant experience
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the eligibility to obtain and maintain a CI/Poly
- Expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing software systems and applications
- Experience in developing algorithms and automated processes for data handling
- Proven ability to integrate cloud-based data solutions
- Strong understanding of database security measures and DoD security standards
- Experience in monitoring database performance
- Proficient in managing data migrations, upgrades, and patch installations
