Design Engineer

PlayHT (YC '23), now known as Play.ai, is revolutionizing the field of generative voice and conversational LLMs. We're seeking a Design Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of Conversational Voice AI. This role combines design expertise with technical implementation, requiring both creative and engineering skills.

As a Design Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of design and technology, creating intuitive user interfaces and experiences for our cutting-edge voice AI platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex problems into elegant solutions, while maintaining a strong focus on user-centered design principles.

The ideal candidate brings 1+ years of experience in UI engineering or product design, with a strong foundation in front-end development technologies including React, JavaScript, and modern design tools. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and design trends.
