The role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of NFHS Network applications and services. - Spearheading the development of cloud-native software solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Participating in code reviews and design reviews
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Evaluating new technologies
- Ensuring development processes are followed
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Fan Experience
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement software solutions
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other team activities
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development
- Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to the team
- Ensure that development processes and practices are followed
- Write technical documentation and ensure that it is up-to-date
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Fan Experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue 3 (bonus for Nuxt), Node.js, and Ruby on Rails
- Strong collaboration and mentorship skills
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Preferred: Experience with web multimedia, video.js, and building customer-facing software
- Preferred: Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
