Software Engineer - II - Test (SDET)

As a Software Engineer - II - Test (SDET) at Plum, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and build test strategies.
3. Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects to resolution.
4. Participating in code reviews and quality checks.
5. Championing continuous integration and automation testing.
6. Mentoring junior team members.
7. Contributing to performance and load testing.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 3-6 years of experience in software testing, development, or automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Python, with experience in tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and RestAssured.
• Expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience with continuous integration pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• A passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
