As an IT Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's information systems and ensuring the integrity of data, networks, and infrastructure. Responsibilities For IT Security Engineer
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor and analyze internet traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Respond to security or IT incidents and conduct investigations
- Manage security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Manage MDM solutions for employee devices
- Provide security training and support to staff
- Maintain G-Suite and other applications
Requirements For IT Security Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles
- Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies
- Experience with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus software
- Proficiency in network and system administration
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
