Responsibilities For IT Security Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage security tools and measures to protect data, systems, and networks
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to suspicious activity and potential threats
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Respond to security and IT incidents
- Manage security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2 and ISO 27001)
- Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
- Serve as IT system issues point of contact
- Provide security training and support to staff
- Maintain and manage G-Suite and business applications
Requirements For IT Security Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles
- Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies
- Experience with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus)
- Proficiency in network and system administration
- Knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
