Polly is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures to safeguard our organization's data, systems, and networks. Your role will involve developing and enforcing security policies, conducting assessments, monitoring alerts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards
- Designing and managing security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests
- Monitoring and analyzing security alerts and logs
- Conducting forensic investigations and incident response
- Ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Collaborating with IT and development teams on security best practices
- Providing security training for employees
- Staying current with the latest security technologies and threats
We're looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering
- Strong understanding of security principles and technologies
- Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions
- Proficiency in network and system administration
- Knowledge of SOC2 and ISO 27001
- Experience with cloud environments, AWS preferred
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CISM) are a plus
