Senior Full Stack Engineer

Polly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their remote, globally distributed team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll work on building systems behind Polly's one-time and recurring polls, surveys, and feedback workflows that run directly in Slack, MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. The role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders and making a big impact on users.

The tech stack primarily uses Node on the backend and React on the front-end, in a modern development environment featuring single-click deployments on a daily basis. The ideal candidate should have an interest in working in a highly collaborative environment and be willing to mentor other team members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, evolving, and supporting one of the most popular apps on Slack, MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet platforms
• Shipping high-quality software with a tight-knit engineering team
• Getting involved in every aspect of Polly's products, from design to iteration and deployment
• Developing, automating, and maintaining cloud and containerization infrastructure
• Taking part in DevOps rotations to support the production environment
• Mentoring more junior developers

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience with multiple product life cycles of commercial software development in B2B, SaaS, and/or Cloud focus
• Experience building end-to-end solutions and comfort operating in any layer of the architecture
• User-centered, solution-oriented design experience
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead projects end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Experience operating in a remote team environment
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Ability to overlap working hours with the Pacific time-zone
