Lead Fullstack Engineer

Postscript, a rapidly growing SMS marketing platform trusted by over 18,000 Shopify and Shopify Plus stores, is seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer for their App Systems Team. Founded in 2018 and backed by prestigious investors like Greylock and Y Combinator, Postscript has grown to over 250 employees while maintaining a 100% remote culture.

As a Lead Fullstack Engineer, you'll be instrumental in architecting and building core pricing, billing, and authentication components for their messaging and AI products. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, working primarily with a Python monolith and Go microservices stack, complemented by React and TypeScript on the frontend. Data management involves Postgres, MongoDB, and Snowflake.

The position offers significant autonomy and impact, with responsibilities including guiding technical decisions, mentoring team members, and helping transition to a more microservices-centric architecture. You'll be working on innovative pricing paradigms for AI integrations while ensuring the security and integrity of onboarding and billing frameworks.
