Senior Front-end Engineer

Practi is a vibrant start-up focused on improving the healthcare experience in the UK. Our mission is to free healthcare practitioners from administrative distractions, allowing them to focus on providing the best patient care. We're currently targeting the Dental sector with an initial product offering that simplifies the pre-treatment experience, including treatment financing.

As a Senior Front-end Engineer at Practi, you'll play a crucial role in our Engineering team as we enter the second phase of our execution. You'll be responsible for iterating on our product and engineering solutions to accelerate our growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with and leading engineers in building and supporting solutions
• Working with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize customer-facing and internal problems
• Building and supporting easily extensible, low-maintenance engineering solutions
• Mentoring engineers
• Contributing to a healthy and productive work environment that promotes innovation

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, and browser technologies
• Expertise in the React ecosystem
• Good understanding of UX/UI patterns and tooling
• Knowledge of security best practices

Additional valuable experiences include:

• Building and maintaining high-traffic web applications
• CI/CD experience
• Working in fast-paced, product-focused environments
• Experience with languages like Java, C#, C++, Ruby, or Python
• Healthcare or finance domain knowledge
• Back-end web application development using Node.js
