Senior TypeScript Back-end Engineer

Practi is a vibrant start-up focusing on improving the healthcare experience in the UK. We want to do this by freeing healthcare practitioners from the distraction of admin, so they can focus on providing the best patient care. We are on a mission to improve the experience for both healthcare providers and patients, starting with the Dental sector.

As a Senior TypeScript Back-end Engineer at Practi, you will:

• Collaborate with and lead engineers in building and supporting solutions
• Work with Product, Design, Operation, and Growth teams to understand and prioritize customer-facing and internal problems
• Build and support easily extensible low-maintenance engineering solutions
• Mentor engineers
• Contribute to fostering a healthy and productive work environment, promoting a culture of innovation

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with cloud-based application architecture, preferably AWS
• Good understanding of Docker and CI/CD tooling
• Knowledge of security and observability best practices
