Description For SW Support Engineer

Printec, a leading provider of business-to-customer transaction technologies in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking a SW Support Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment. With 35 years of experience, Printec specializes in making digital transactions safer, faster, and easier through innovative solutions ranging from parcel delivery to digital onboarding.

The role requires a mid-level engineer with 2-3 years of experience to support and maintain software applications, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and ensure smooth operation of systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows environments, SQL, and application servers, with additional knowledge of .NET or web technologies being advantageous.

Responsibilities For SW Support Engineer

  • Support applications for medium to large software projects and deliveries
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and provide customer support as needed
  • Organize and conduct thorough testing of applications
  • Compile technical documentation such as user manuals and specification documents
  • Develop and implement test scenarios for projects and deliverables

Requirements For SW Support Engineer

  • University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience
  • System engineering on Windows Environments
  • Debugging and troubleshooting experience
  • Scripting / Packaging tools experience
  • Knowledge of Application Servers (IIS) and Windows server environments
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of Software development in .NET platform or Web Technologies is a plus
  • Excellent command of Greek & English language
