Description For Game Full Stack Developer

Prodigy Education, a global leader in game-based learning, is seeking a Game Full Stack Developer to join their Engineering team. This role focuses on building and operating a high-performance, scalable, reliable, and secure technology platform for educational games. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a backend/Full Stack Developer with expertise in infrastructure and tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing exceptional code for immersive learning experiences
  • Developing scalable systems across the entire software development lifecycle
  • Improving architecture and design of game backend systems
  • Contributing to the team's technical direction and culture of excellence
  • Ensuring backend systems are resilient and high-performing for over 150k concurrent users

Required skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Proficiency in backend services using Node, Python, or Java
  • Knowledge of nosql/sql databases and caching strategies
  • DevOps practices and tools experience
  • LiveOps experience in game development

Requirements For Game Full Stack Developer

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platform

  • Hands on experience on modeling nosql/sql databases and caching strategies
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring
  • Prior experience with LiveOps in game development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment
