Project A Services GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Senior Quality & Validation Engineer (m/f/d) with expertise in mechanical engineering or mechatronics for one of their portfolio companies. This German dual-use tech company develops unmanned ground vehicles to advance automation in both government and civilian sectors. The role is based in Munich and requires at least 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably in robotics, defense, automotive, aerospace, or supplier industries.
As a Senior Quality & Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for transitioning prototypes into series production, obtaining industry certifications (ISO, CE, MIL-STD), managing technical documentation, optimizing production processes, and assessing production risks. You will work closely with design, R&D, and quality assurance teams, and guide junior engineers in their professional development.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of production processes in the EU/Germany, experience with certifications and technical documentation, and a practical approach to solving production challenges. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is required, along with fluency in both German and English.

- Create and implement plans to transition prototypes into series production
- Obtain industry certifications (ISO, CE, MIL-STD) and ensure compliance
- Manage technical documentation, including product specifications and compliance proofs
- Work closely with design, R&D, and quality assurance teams
- Optimize production processes and reduce costs
- Assess and mitigate production risks to ensure product reliability
- Guide junior engineers and promote their continuous learning
Requirements For Senior Quality & Validation Engineer (m/f/d)
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning, ideally in robotics, defense, automotive, aerospace, or supplier industries
- In-depth knowledge of production processes in the EU/Germany, as well as experience with certifications and technical documentation
