We are seeking a Defence Systems Engineer to join our portfolio company, a German dual-use technology company specializing in unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for both governmental and civilian applications. This role is at the forefront of military systems integration, combining expertise in mechanical, electronic, and software domains.

The position demands a unique blend of skills in hardware and software integration, focusing on enhancing UGV operational effectiveness in defence scenarios. You'll be responsible for integrating cutting-edge military systems, including effector modules, sensor payloads, and communication systems into robotic platforms.

Key responsibilities include developing embedded software solutions, implementing secure communication architectures, and ensuring seamless interoperability between various system components. You'll work with military stakeholders to define requirements and maintain compliance with defence standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in multi-domain system integration, proficiency in electronics and embedded software, and experience with defence-grade payloads. Knowledge of military networking protocols and hands-on experience with C++, embedded Linux, and real-time systems is essential.
