Prophecy, a rapidly growing startup, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in B2B enterprise applications, strong skills in Spark, SQL, and cloud technologies, and a passion for problem-solving. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, and Kubernetes, while developing and maintaining advanced knowledge of Prophecy IDE architecture.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Prophecy IDE
- Assist with issues around third-party integrations with the Prophecy environment
- Reproduce customer bugs in production and sandbox environments
- Set clear expectations with customers on the next steps
- Provide best practices guidance and support for solutions developed by customers using Prophecy IDE
- Deliver proactive suggestions for improving performance and efficiency in customer-specific environments
- Coordinate with engineering to achieve timely resolution of customer issues and requests
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of company documentation and knowledge articles
- Be a true proponent of customer advocacy
- Coach other team members as needed
- Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of Prophecy IDE architecture and administration
- Support customers and other customer support team members via chat, email and video conference
Requirements For Data Engineer
- 6+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting B2B large enterprise applications
- Strong work experience in production issue resolution
- Experience in building, managing, and maintaining all aspects of ETL
- Expert in Spark architecture and experience with Databricks/Snowflake environment configuration and management
- Experience with Git and CI/CD technologies
- Technology experience in SQL, Databricks/ Hadoop/ Spark
- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, Hadoop, CDP
- Advanced skills in at least one of: Spark, SQL, Airflow, Kubernetes
- Experience in 'hands-on' technical support and escalation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts
- Creative attitude toward problem-solving
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong desire to work in a fast-moving startup environment
- B Tech or above degree in CS or equivalent
