Prophecy, the data copilot company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This role involves working alongside the sales team to introduce Prophecy to potential customers, acting as a trusted advisor to educate prospects on Prophecy's unique capabilities. You'll lead product briefings, build proof-of-concepts, run live demos, and prototype integrations. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience as a sales engineer, extensive experience in solution architecture, and a strong background in software development, Apache Spark, and data processing. You'll work closely with account managers to develop regional go-to-market strategies and be ready to travel as needed. Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Introduce Prophecy to potential customers
  • Educate prospects on Prophecy's unique capabilities
  • Lead product and solution briefings
  • Build proof-of-concepts (POC)
  • Run live product demos
  • Prototype Prophecy integrations
  • Partner with product management, engineering, and support teams
  • Identify and address customers' key technical objections
  • Develop engineering strategies to resolve adoption blockers
  • Work with Account Managers on regional go-to-market strategies

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • 5-7+ years of experience as a sales engineer or similar role
  • Extensive experience in solution architecture and leading presentations
  • Experience with software development, Apache Spark, and pipeline/ETL integrations
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data processing
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline transformation and modernization
  • Previous experience in a technical customer-facing role
  • Ability to work PST hours
