Description For 3rd Line IT Support Engineer

proSapient is a dynamic company that connects consulting and private equity firms with industry experts to facilitate important decision-making processes. As a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in their rapidly scaling IT team, reporting directly to the IT Director. The position offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days remote work per week.

The role involves leading IT infrastructure projects in security and cloud services across their global offices in London, Raleigh, Lisbon & Toronto. You'll be responsible for system administration, security management, and implementing best practices aligned with frameworks like CIS benchmark, NIST, and ISO27001.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in IT system administration, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, SIEM solutions, and M365 services. Experience with Cisco products, enterprise email security, and AWS configuration would be advantageous.

Responsibilities For 3rd Line IT Support Engineer

  • Provide hands-on technical infrastructure configuration support across all four offices and remote workers
  • Act as an escalation point to other engineers on projects and support requests
  • Provide system and network administration
  • Assist in rolling out global IT standards
  • Ensure best practices for security threats and breaches
  • Work with various teams to improve security systems
  • Support IT Director in project delivery
  • Act as the IT Expert for proSapient

Requirements For 3rd Line IT Support Engineer

Linux
Kubernetes
  • 3-5 years experience in IT sysadmin role at Level 3
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Experience managing SIEM solutions, particularly MS Sentinel
  • Experience managing M365 services
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 standards
  • Experience with Cisco products (Meraki and Umbrella)
  • Experience maintaining enterprise email security solutions
  • High-level AWS configuration experience (beneficial)
