Responsibilities For Network Engineer

  • Ensure LAN/WAN network connectivity operates properly
  • Manage network administration including backup, security, user accounts, email systems, internet access
  • Support server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications
  • Set up new computers, laptops, printers and peripherals
  • Control user access and manage network permissions
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research technical questions
  • Report recurring problems to management
  • Perform special tasks as directed by senior technical leadership

Requirements For Network Engineer

Linux
  • 3-5 years of Network Engineering Experience
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services)
  • Active Directory administration
  • VMWare virtualization
  • Exchange administration
  • Linux/Unix experience
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong analytical skills
