Prove is a leading provider of phone-centric identity tokenization and authentication solutions, processing 20 billion customer requests annually for over 1,000 enterprise customers. They're seeking a Security Engineer to join their Information Security team in a role that combines technical expertise with strategic security planning.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of digital security, where you'll be responsible for protecting the company's digital assets and maintaining robust security infrastructure. As a Security Engineer, you'll handle various aspects of security from vulnerability management to threat intelligence, while also serving as a technical lead within a growing cyber security group.

The role requires a blend of technical skills and security expertise, including experience with vulnerability management tools, scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell), and knowledge of various compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, NIST). Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Manage the IAM program including administering and provisioning corporate identities and access
  • Act as a technical lead within cyber security group and develop team objectives
  • Assist in validating and remediating critical findings from Audit/Vulnerability & Threat Management
  • Utilize industry-standard toolsets to map and reduce attack surface
  • Research emerging cyber threats
  • Triage and escalate high risk and zero day exploits
  • Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to identify and exploit points of exposure
  • Implement vulnerability management lifecycle processes
  • Assess system's security defense capabilities
  • Train fellow Provers on security best practices

Requirements For Security Engineer

Python
  • 4-7 years of experience in Engineering/IT Operations, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Incident Response
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, information security, computer science, or related field
  • Experience with Vulnerability Management tooling, SAST, DAST, SCA, DLP, SIEM and SOAR tooling
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
  • Understanding of Security Development Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2 and NIST requirements
  • Experience in high-growth/pre-IPO Technology companies
