Proxymity, a rapidly growing digital investor communications platform, is seeking an Information Technology Support Engineer for their Manchester office. Founded in London and spun out of Citi, the company has expanded from 10 to 200+ employees in just four years, with a global presence in London, New York, Tel-Aviv, and Melbourne.

Responsibilities For Information Technology Support Engineer

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops and other end user devices
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, processes and troubleshooting steps
  • Prioritise and maintain the status of all assigned jobs/tasks in Jira
  • Manage access permissions for employees and new hires
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 accounts
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory and audit requirements
  • Manage the packaging and shipping of IT equipment
  • Maintain a secure and safe work environment

Requirements For Information Technology Support Engineer

Linux
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience preferred
  • 5 GCSES or equivalent
  • IT certification
  • Experience with end-user support process for laptops
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, MAC OS, Microsoft's O365
  • Active Directory, Group Policy knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for Office 365
  • User account management experience
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills
