DevOps Engineer

Pure Storage is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in building the future of data storage and management. As a DevOps Engineer, you will specialize in managing, automating, and optimizing VMware, OpenStack, and on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable VMware, OpenStack, and Kubernetes environments
• Implementing automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect solutions
• Implementing observability best practices
• Providing expertise in DevOps methodologies
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale VMware, OpenStack, and/or Kubernetes environments
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, GO
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
• Familiarity with Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with containerization technologies
