Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Work with system admins and coders in tools and infrastructure automation
  • Write automation scripts for self-service and system integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and roll out new systems
  • Research and identify products for management, operations and scaling
  • Architect and develop automated monitoring and alerts
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers
  • Participate in periodic on-call rotation
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision

Requirements For DevOps Engineer

Kubernetes
  • 6+ years in scripting using Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash
  • 3+ years supporting CI/CD or DevOps toolchains
  • Experience with configuration management systems
  • Ability to understand and interact with APIs
  • Strong experience in service operations and lifecycle
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in on-call rotation and production issues
