As an IAM Engineer Level 3 at Pure Storage, you'll join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing security and operational efficiency. Your role will involve implementing IAM solutions, contributing to strategies, and delivering tasks of medium to high complexity. You'll work on diverse problems, implement automation and integration code, and collaborate with senior personnel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge in IAM
- Implementing IAM solutions and contributing to strategies
- Authoring and maintaining integration and automation code
- Identifying root causes within service management incident response processes
- Reducing technical debt backlog
- Staying current with industry trends and technical developments
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Intermediate knowledge of IAM standards and practices
- Experience with IAM tools like Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, or CyberArk
- Proficiency in scripting languages and automation platforms
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities For IAM Engineer Level 3
- Demonstrate full competency and comprehensive knowledge in IAM
- Implement IAM solutions and contribute to strategies and roadmap
- Implement and deliver tasks and outcomes of medium to high complexity
- Author and maintain integration and automation code
- Identify root causes within the team's service management incident response processes
- Reduce technical debt backlog for the team
- Stay current with industry trends and technical developments
- Maintain and apply intermediate knowledge of major platform automation technologies
- Partner with senior engineers to deliver more complex tasks and outcomes
- Network with senior internal and external personnel in your area of expertise
Requirements For IAM Engineer Level 3
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5 years experience, or Master's degree with 3 years experience
- Intermediate knowledge of IAM standards and practices
- Experience with IAM tools (Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation platforms
- Proven track record of delivering on commitments of medium to high complexity
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding environment
- Ability to mentor and collaborate with team members
