Responsibilities For Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

  • Understand customer's business drivers and decision-making motivations
  • Partner with account managers and channel partners to drive revenue growth
  • Deliver technical product and architecture presentations
  • Lead evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations
  • Contribute to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs responses
  • Liaison with product and technical marketing teams
  • Stay current with competition and market trends
  • Translate customer business needs into innovative solutions
  • Lead technical win strategies with clients and prospective accounts

Requirements For Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

Linux
Kubernetes
  • BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Pre-sales experience is required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
  • Superior knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems and Linux distributed network environment
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture
  • Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
