Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer - Federal Civilian

Pure Storage, a leader in data storage and flash technology, is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for their Federal Civilian accounts. This role involves understanding customer challenges, tailoring Pure Storage solutions, and acting as a technical expert during the sales process. Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of customer business drivers, connecting technology solutions to measurable outcomes, partnering with account managers and channel partners, delivering technical presentations, leading evaluations and benchmarks, and contributing to RFPs and RFIs. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, pre-sales experience, and excellent communication skills. Requirements:

• BS in CS, EE, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
• Pre-sales experience, preferably with Federal Civilian accounts
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
• Knowledge of modern web architecture, storage architectures, and cloud technologies
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed network environments
• Strong skills in digital transformation, cloud architectures, and containerization
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills

The role offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 – $200,200, with potential for incentive pay and equity.
