Software Engineer, Cloud FlashArray

Pure Storage is seeking a Software Engineer for their Cloud FlashArray team in Prague, Czech Republic. This role is part of the FlashArray's cloud initiative, focusing on enhancing the Cloud Block Store (CBS) offering. The team is dedicated to making CBS easier to adopt, use, and operate, owning multiple services written in Go and ensuring their smooth operations.

As a Software Engineer in this role, you will:

• Own and deliver innovation end-to-end, from concept to a running service or feature
• Design and develop new features and enhancements
• Focus on test automation and reliable operations of the service
• Help choose the best tools to get the job done
• Propose improvements
• Work with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
• Collaborate across teams with other Pure engineers
• Use Go, Python, Azure, Kubernetes, and other tools and technologies

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development, using Go, Python, or similar programming languages
• A BS+ degree in Computer Science or related field
• Enthusiasm for SW development
• Responsibility for the quality of delivered work
• An open mind to learn more about different languages, domains, and platforms
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Natural curiosity and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Beneficial skills include:

• Cloud / DevOps / Kubernetes related experience
• REST API design experience
• CI/CD experience

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be present in the office for 4 days a week, subject to variations based on business needs.
