Responsibilities For Systems Engineer

  • Demonstrate thought and practice leadership as a member of SE team
  • Participate in sales strategy and tactics creation for Commercial accounts
  • Assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations
  • Work with Engineering and Product Management to define product requirements
  • Demonstrate technical leadership in storage products and architectures
  • Mentor other team members

Requirements For Systems Engineer

Linux
  • 8-10 years experience supporting enterprise storage sales
  • Understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations
  • Knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
  • Experience with UNIX OS, NFS file systems, and distributed networks
  • Knowledge of VMWare, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS in CS, EE or other technical degree or equivalent experience
