Pure Storage is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join their 24x7 Support team based in North Carolina. As part of the best Support team in the industry, you'll work on problems of diverse scope within the FlashBlade product, utilizing deep technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively understand customer expectations
- Resolve support cases across all severity levels
- Track customer issues using ticket system
- Manage customer-facing communications
- Document knowledge via FAQ/KB articles
- Mentor junior support engineers
- Manage multiple projects/cases simultaneously
- Champion customer issues internally
- Lead large multi-participant customer calls
- Work independently with minimal day-to-day instruction
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise-level technical support
- Willing to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Eastern shift
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex multi-platform environments
- Experience supporting hardware and software products
- Knowledge of operating systems, LANs, WANs, and storage area networks
- Ability to troubleshoot Networking, Replication, Performance, and Space issues
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
