Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer
- Develop understanding of customer business drivers and decision making
- Present technical product and architecture presentations to customers
- Manage evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations
- Author responses to RFI & RFPs
- Liaise with product and technical marketing teams
- Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into solutions
- Stay current with competition and market trends
- Build and deliver technical presentations to secure technical wins
Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer
- 5-10 years experience in enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions sales
- Pre-sales experience
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
- Superior knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- Knowledge of UNIX OS, NFS file systems and UNIX distributed network environment
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud
- Knowledge of VMWare, TCP/IP and general networking
- BS in CS, EE or technical degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent German and English skills
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
