Network Engineer L2

As a Network Engineer L2 at Pythian, you will be responsible for actively contributing to design and architecture discussions in a fast-paced environment. You'll handle enterprise network operations, including escalations and severity cases, and provide 24/7 support. This role requires a passion for Routing, Switching, and Security.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networking solutions across multiple global sites
• Working with Cisco Firewalls, Routers, and switches
• Implementing Software Defined Networking (SD-WAN)
• Configuring and troubleshooting various network protocols and technologies
• Handling enterprise LAN and WAN troubleshooting and configuration
• Managing Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC firewall configurations and security policies

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in designing and implementing multi-vendor network solutions
• Excellent knowledge of networking standards, protocols, and technologies
• Qualifications in Routing & Switching, Security, or SD-WAN
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• CCNA or CCNP Certifications (asset)
• Knowledge of Cisco Wireless Access Points and AeroHive Access Points (asset)
