Description For Backend Developer (Java)

Join a major European customer's new Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Vietnam as a Backend Developer. The company, with over 1,000 employees, is establishing a 10-member ODC team focusing on Fintech solutions. As part of a global team of 150 members, you'll work with Java, Spring frameworks, and modern development practices. After approximately one year, there's an opportunity for direct employment with the customer. The role offers a structured work environment, competitive compensation, and the chance to work with international teams. The position is based in Hanoi with a focus on modernizing legacy systems and implementing robust backend solutions.

Requirements For Backend Developer (Java)

Java

React

TypeScript

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
Proficient in Spring Core and Spring Boot frameworks
Strong grasp of test-driven development (TDD) practices
Experience with Junit or Mockito
Have practical projects on CI/CD tools and processes
Experience in modernizing legacy systems
Previous exposure to working with international teams
English B2 level
Experience in fintech, banking, and finance domains (nice to have)

Working hours: 9 AM - 6 PM, or 10 AM - 7 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract type: Service contract
Expected on-board time: after Tet, 17/02/2025 at the latest
