Qode is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This position requires a Malaysia Native and combines both remote and office work. The role focuses on full-stack development, including back-end web development using Python and Node.js, and front-end development with TypeScript and modern frameworks. The ideal candidate will work extensively with AWS IoT Hub for hardware integration, manage cloud infrastructure, and handle both relational and NoSQL databases. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects involving IoT integration, real-time dashboard development, and API design. The role requires a senior-level engineer with 5-8 years of experience who can contribute to all aspects of the development lifecycle, from writing clean code to maintaining documentation. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires strong problem-solving skills to address performance, scalability, and security challenges.
Responsibilities For Full Stack Engineer (Malaysia)
- Craft and enhance web applications using Python for the backend, Node.js for server-side logic, and TypeScript with modern front-end frameworks
- Design, create, and integrate APIs for seamless communication
- Leverage AWS IoT Hub to integrate IoT hardware into applications
- Build and maintain scalable server-side applications using Python and Node.js frameworks
- Integrate IoT hardware data into dashboards
- Manage and scale applications using AWS services
- Design and manage databases with focus on performance
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Partner with designers, product managers, and other developers
- Address performance, scalability, and security challenges
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
Requirements For Full Stack Engineer (Malaysia)
- 5-8 years experience as a Fullstack Developer
- Deep knowledge of Python and frameworks like Django or Flask
- Proficiency with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS
- Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
- Strong understanding of designing, creating, and integrating APIs
- Familiarity with AWS IoT Hub
- Solid experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in database management, both relational and NoSQL
