Join a leading Finance/Banking/Wealth Management/Investment firm as an Operations Engineer specializing in SCCM and Software Assets management. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-$52 and is initially a 12-month contract with potential for permanent conversion. You'll be responsible for managing over 100 applications, ensuring their proper configuration, security, and deployment across Windows 10 & 11 environments. The position involves crucial work in software asset management, system administration, and security compliance.

As an Operations Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the organization's software infrastructure. Responsibilities For Operations Engineer (SCCM / Software Assets)

  • Administering SCCM automated software delivery via Software Center
  • Creating, maintaining, and deploying desktop images
  • Deploying Windows to desktops and patching Windows to all endpoint devices
  • Oversee software assets lifecycle from procurement to retirement
  • Creating documentation for application packages deployed
  • Perform software usage analysis
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements
  • Generate reports on software asset inventory and compliance status
  • Package and distribute software using distribution tools and scripting
  • Configure and deploy software packages using SCCM
  • Collaborate with software vendors and manage contracts
  • Stay updated on software asset management tools and best practices

Requirements For Operations Engineer (SCCM / Software Assets)

Linux
  • Previous experience with SCCM and SysTrack
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy in Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Patch my PC software and VS plug in security evaluation and deployment
  • Experience with application packaging and security patching
  • Experience with VMware vCenter (ideal)
  • Software asset management knowledge
  • Strong governance and security expertise
  • Strong communication skills
