Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Qode is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and managing our cloud infrastructure on AWS with a code-first mindset. You'll implement data storage solutions, automate workflows, build monitoring dashboards, and optimize costs. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implementing data storage solutions (S3, ERDS, NoSQL)
• Automating workflows using orchestration systems like Airflow and Oozie
• Creating monitoring and observability dashboards
• Optimizing and managing cloud costs
• Enforcing security measures and establishing data integrity procedures
• Performing on-call duties for 24/7 system uptime
• Maintaining documentation and standards

The ideal candidate will have:

• A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python and Shell
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of IAM and networking security
• Experience with performance diagnostics and tuning
• Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes and ECS
