Security Engineer

Qodea, the largest Google Cloud-only digital consultancy in Europe, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves a wide range of activities in security incident investigation, threat detection, and response. Key responsibilities include:

• Investigating security incidents using advanced analytical skills
• Developing detection rules and implementing automated response mechanisms
• Driving continuous improvement in team performance and security tooling
• Conducting in-depth analysis using log correlation, malware analysis, and digital forensics
• Analyzing threat intelligence data and conducting controlled threat simulations
• Proactive threat hunting to identify potential threats
• Developing detection rules and automation playbooks
• Administering security tools and optimizing log visibility
• Contributing to knowledge bases and providing mentorship

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, understanding of network compromise techniques, hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in automating tasks using scripting languages and familiarity with cloud-native services is highly desirable.
