Data Engineer

Qohash, a leader in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), is seeking a Data Engineer to join their innovative team. As a cybersecurity provider, Qohash modernizes industry practices for detecting and protecting enterprise-sensitive information through their Qostodian platform. The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL Development, with strong skills in Apache Spark or Databricks.

The role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing features, writing efficient code, and participating in projects from ideation to launch. You'll collaborate with the security team, advise on technological choices, and contribute to continuous improvement of development activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining complex microservices' architecture
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Correcting anomalies and problems as they arise
• Collaborating with the team and influencing product quality
• Communicating risks associated with activities, technologies, or processes

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in Apache Spark or Databricks
• 2+ years of experience in building and optimizing data-ingestion solutions
• Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering

Additional desirable skills include experience in streaming technologies, Kafka, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and cybersecurity. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.
