ASIC Modelling Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a talented ASIC Modelling Engineer to join their team in Cork, Ireland. As a leading technology innovator, Qualcomm pushes the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences and drives communication and data processing transformation.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the memory subsystem of new generation Qualcomm SoCs. You'll work with a dedicated team to model pathway to memory infrastructure, including coherency protocols, NoC interconnect fabrics, system cache and memory controller. The position involves working on client IP modelling (modem, CPU, machine learning, graphics, display, camera, video and peripherals) and conducting exploration campaigns to identify opportunities for system improvements.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C++, SystemC, and scripting languages, along with deep knowledge of cache architecture, memory controller architecture, and CPU/Graphics/Multimedia systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to defining, modeling, designing, optimizing, verifying, and implementing IP development for high-performance, high-quality, low-power world-class products.
