Qualcomm Cloud Edge Cork is seeking talented software developers to join their global team focusing on firmware support for Cloud Edge Datacentre use cases on premium tier high-performance silicon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

The position involves working across multiple layers of the software stack, collaborating closely with system architects, senior software engineers, and hardware engineers located in Ireland and other global Qualcomm locations. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in embedded software development, with expertise in areas such as Board Support Packages (BSP), device driver development, RTOS, Secure Boot, Trust-zone, and various peripheral interfaces.

Responsibilities For Cloud Firmware Engineer - Cork, Ireland

  • Design, develop and maintain software for Qualcomm SOCs and Edge Devices

Requirements For Cloud Firmware Engineer - Cork, Ireland

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Must be able to code in C to a high standard
