QT Technologies Ireland Limited, a leading technology innovator, is seeking a Senior CPU Post Silicon & Power Engineer to join their team in Cork, Ireland. This role focuses on characterizing, debugging, and optimizing the performance and power consumption of CPUs in complex SoC systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience in post-silicon performance and power analysis of SoCs, along with a strong background in electrical engineering. You'll be responsible for defining and executing performance analysis plans, debugging issues across various development phases, and driving technical innovation in CPU performance optimization.

Responsibilities For CPU Post Silicon & Power Engineer (CPUSS Architecture and Performance)

  • Define and execute end-to-end performance and power analysis plans for complex CPU subsystems
  • Debug issues found during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
  • Define an optimization strategy that delivers world class CPU workload performance
  • Lead collaborative test approach with multiple teams
  • Work closely with supporting teams in design, architecture, emulation, firmware
  • Develop deep knowledge of CPU architecture, SoC system architecture
  • Drive technical innovation to enhance capabilities in CPU performance

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 to 10+ years of practical experience in post silicon performance and power analysis of SoCs
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (C/C++, Python scripts)
  • Strong analytical skills for test plan creation and debug
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must excel in a dynamic team working environment
  • Knowledge and experience in ARM v8 and v9 specifications
  • Proven understanding of CPU, memory hierarchy, system interconnects
