The SnapDragon Engineering team in Cork, Ireland is seeking interns across Digital, Analog and Embedded Software Design & Verification teams. The Cork site specializes in cutting-edge IP development for the latest Snapdragon chipsets, working on various technologies including encryption, power control, graphics, contextual awareness, debug, processing, and analog sensing.
Team members collaborate directly with architecture, software, measurement, and SoC teams both in Ireland and other global locations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to experience the development of leading-edge ASICs and SoCs in advanced CMOS processes for multi-function mobile platforms.
The role requires strong technical skills in various areas including Verilog/VHDL, C/C++, Python, and system verification methodologies. Candidates should have completed their second year of a Bachelor's degree or be in their second year of a Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

- Work on IPs related to encryption
- Work on power control systems
- Work on graphics and contextual awareness
- Work on debug and processing systems
- Work on analog sensing and high-speed connectivity
- Collaborate with architecture, software, measurement and SoC teams
Requirements For FY25 Intern - Engineering Internship 2025 - 6 months, Cork
- Strong Interpersonal, communications and teamwork skills
- Design, Coding and Scripting: Verilog or VHDL, C/C++, Python, Tcl/Perl/shell-scripting
- Verification Methodology using System Verilog/OVM/UVM
- Project work with FPGAs
- Knowledge of Low Power Design
- Knowledge of Analog Integrated Circuits
- Knowledge of wireless/wired communications and protocols
- Excellent computer skills
- Must have completed second year of Bachelor's degree
- Enrolled in bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
