FY25 Intern - Systems Engineering Internship - 6 months, Cork

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is offering an exciting 6-month Systems Engineering Internship opportunity in Cork, focused on sensors-based technology. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge sensor technologies used in smartphones, automotive, IoT, smartwatches, and consumer electronics devices.

The internship provides hands-on experience working with leading-edge sensor technologies and spans the complete product lifecycle from R&D to commercial deployment. You'll be part of a dynamic global team, developing and validating sensor algorithms, working on embedded software development, and gaining practical experience in making critical engineering decisions.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with a strong foundation in digital signal processing, machine learning concepts, and embedded programming. You'll have the opportunity to work with MEMs & inertial sensors, develop algorithms in Python and MATLAB, and implement solutions in C/C++.

This role offers invaluable exposure to real-world engineering challenges in sensor technology applications, from navigation to augmented reality. You'll gain experience in optimizing for performance, memory, and power consumption while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
