Qualcomm is seeking a talented GPU CAD Flow and Methodology Development Engineer to join their team in Cork, Ireland. This is a senior/staff level position focused on GPU ASIC development and methodology improvement.

The role sits at the intersection of hardware design and tool development, requiring expertise in RTL to GDS2 flows. Responsibilities For GPU CAD Flow and Methodology Development Engineer

  • Implementation and delivery of GPU cores from RTL to GDSII
  • Identify areas for flow and process improvements
  • RTL synthesis using physically aware tools
  • Formal Verification using industry standard tools
  • Close design timing by running static timing analysis and constraint development
  • Generate and verify ECOs for functional and timing fixes
  • Develop complex SW for design implementation in Python, Perl, Shell and Tcl

Requirements For GPU CAD Flow and Methodology Development Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design experience
  • Experience in Synthesis or Physical Design Flows, CAD tool development
  • Knowledge of static timing analysis
  • Expertise in clocking and power grid architecture
  • Experience with high performance designs
  • Skills in RTL synthesis and place and route
