Qualcomm is seeking a talented GPU Design Verification Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of graphics processor technology with one of the world's leading semiconductor companies.

As a GPU Design Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our graphics processing units through comprehensive verification processes. You'll work closely with GPU Design and Architecture teams to understand complex requirements and develop sophisticated testing methodologies.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of ASIC Design Verification experience, with strong expertise in System Verilog, UVM, and C/C++. You'll be involved in developing detailed test plans, verification methodologies, and implementing robust verification environments that ensure our GPU designs meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities For GPU Design Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

  • Work with GPU Design and Architecture Teams to understand concepts and high-level requirements
  • Developing detailed Test and Coverage plans based on the Architecture and Micro-architecture
  • Developing Verification Methodology, ensuring scalability and portability across environments
  • Developing Verification Plans and Testbenches for your functional domain
  • Executing Verification Plans, including Design Bring-up, DV environment Bring-up
  • Tracking and report DV progress using a variety of metrics
  • Developing UVM tests for functional verification
  • Debugging and analyzing new features in the Graphics Processors (GPU)

Requirements For GPU Design Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design experience
  • 5+ years ASIC Design Verification, or related work experience
  • System Verilog, UVM, Verilog or VHDL, C/C++ skills required

  • Verification skills: Test planning, Scripting (Perl & Python), Simulation, problem solving and debug
