Description For Graduate/Junior Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a Graduate/Junior Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The Microcontroller Sub-System IP team plays a crucial role in enabling embedded processing solutions across various functions and products at Qualcomm, dealing with security, power management, and other system-on-chip (SoC) functions across multiple business units including IoT, Mobile, Auto, XR, and Compute.

As a Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying industry-leading verification methodologies, creating testbenches and verification components, ensuring comprehensive coverage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to technological excellence in a diverse, multicultural team environment.

Responsibilities For Graduate/Junior Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer

  • Deploy industry-leading verification methodologies such as Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and Formal Verification
  • Create testbenches and verification components, including Universal Verification Components (UVCs)
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage and collaborate with design teams to address coverage gaps
  • Work closely with design, SoC, and validation teams to solve problems
  • Assist in integrating design into higher-level subsystems
  • System solutions Support and test vector debugging

Requirements For Graduate/Junior Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Skills in UVM, System Verilog, and Perl/Python shell scripting
  • Basic familiarity with C/C++
  • Understanding of processor/microcontroller sub-systems
