Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

Qualcomm is seeking a Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The role is part of the Microcontroller Sub-System IP team, which plays a crucial role in enabling embedded processing solutions across various functions and products at Qualcomm. This team deals with security, power management, and other system-on-chip (SoC) functions across multiple business units including IoT, Mobile, Auto, XR, and Compute.

As a Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying industry-leading verification methodologies, creating testbenches and verification components, and ensuring comprehensive coverage. You'll work closely with design, SoC, and validation teams to solve problems at various levels and assist in integrating design into higher-level subsystems.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of ASIC design verification experience, with strong knowledge of UVM-based verification methodologies. Familiarity with ARM or RISC-V ISA verification, formal verification tools, and AMBA bus protocols is highly desired. The role requires proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, and scripting languages like Python/Perl.
