Description For Mixed-Signal Design Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

Qualcomm's Mixed-Signal IP (MSIP) Design Verification team in Cork, Ireland is seeking engineers to join their innovative team. The role focuses on mixed-signal verification for key PHY IPs including DDR, USB, PCIE, and more, using cutting-edge tools and verification techniques in leading edge silicon nodes at 3nm and below. The position offers an opportunity to work with global teams on Snapdragon SoCs development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SV/UVM based Design Verification, with knowledge of analog mixed signal verification techniques. They will work closely with various teams including architecture, design, software, and SoC teams, contributing to the verification and integration of critical IP designs.

Responsibilities For Mixed-Signal Design Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

  • SV/UVM based Design Verification of SerDes, DDR & PLL Mixed-Signal PHY IP
  • Work closely with analog and digital front-end design teams
  • Interact with architecture, design, physical design, software, test and SoC teams
  • Verify and integrate SerDes, DDR & PLL IP designs into Qualcomm Snapdragon products

Requirements For Mixed-Signal Design Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years design verification or related work experience
  • Experience in design and verification of hardware and software on SoCs
  • Knowledge in developing unit and SoC/IP level test benches using UVM
  • Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, Assertions, Python/TCL/Perl/shell-scripting
  • Excellent communication skills
