This role focuses on developing innovative solutions for Qualcomm's chip implementation flow, working on VLSI R&D projects. The position involves addressing Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) scaling challenges, improving digital ASIC design flow efficiency, and conducting post-silicon yield debug. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python, TCL, and C++, along with expertise in VLSI implementation and EDA tools. Responsibilities For PD Methodology Engineer
- Develop innovative solutions for Qualcomm's chip implementation flow
- Address challenges with Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) scaling tradeoffs
- Research and develop methods to improve efficiency of digital ASIC design flow
- Design automation and signoff methodology development
- Post-silicon yield debug and data mining
Requirements For PD Methodology Engineer
- Strong coding with Python, TCL and C++
- Good knowledge in Digital VLSI implementation with emphasis on STA
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning
- Hands on experience with EDA tools (Primetime, ICC2/FC, Innovus, Tempus, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year experience OR PhD
