Description For Senior Engineer, IT

QUALCOMM's Corporate IT organization has an opening for a candidate with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune for Windows systems management and Microsoft Configuration Manager. This position will reside in a team that provides enterprise technologies and solutions to the entire Qualcomm workforce. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter working with minimal supervision, adaptable, great communicator, results driven, and have a desire to investigate and implement solutions for a large, multi-faceted, Fortune 500 company.

The responsibilities of this individual will have a focus on administering all aspects of Microsoft's Intune cloud-based and on prem management systems. This will include, but not be limited to, design and implement endpoint management solutions for Windows including infrastructure, policies, profiles, and applications to emulate customer environments. Configure and manage device enrollment, compliance policies, as well as enabling automated device deployment.

Duties will also include service monitoring and maintenance, infrastructure and client support, and project/upgrade work for the supported services and technologies.

Skills/Experience:

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Entra Active Directory
  • Active Directory
  • Experience working on projects and within technical teams
  • Strong experience with Windows OS (all versions) in a large corporate environment
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows across all the various services such as policies, applications, enrollment, patching
  • Good understanding of the relationship between Azure AD and Intune and Conditional Access policies
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with varying levels of the organization
  • Ability to be productive in a team environment and help contribute to a positive team effort

  • Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Knowledge of Entra Active Directory and Active Directory
  • Strong experience with Windows OS in a large corporate environment
  • Understanding of Azure AD, Intune, and Conditional Access policies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
