Qualcomm is seeking an Audio Software Application Engineer to join their Customer Engineering team, working with world-leading Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) compute device makers. This role requires expertise in audio system architecture and Windows Audio Software Architecture. The position involves supporting OEMs/Tier-1/Tier-2s with Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Windows audio system architecture feature customizations from proof of concept to final product launches. The ideal candidate will work with global teams to develop next-generation Compute products, focusing on audio software driver customization, performance optimization, and certification support. Responsibilities For Audio SW Application Engineer, up to Staff
- Customize Windows ARM-based audio software drivers for OEM
- Co-work with cross functional teams to speed up solutions to customer problems
- Provide Audio performance measurement, analysis, and optimization
- Create application notes, technical memo, and provide training to customers
- Support Audio/Voice system's algorithm tuning and debugging
- Provide audio tuning support for Teams, Zoom, Cortana, and Alexa certification
Requirements For Audio SW Application Engineer, up to Staff
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience
- 3+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++
- 3+ years experience with embedded system
- Experience in Windows audio and ACPI
- Outstanding communication skills
